Advice! going to Brisvegas.......

.....at the end of sept for the Friday & Saturday.
Can the locals tell me, is there any reliable way to get to Minyama from Brisbane airport on Thursday night? (like bus,train)
Or should I fly up Friday morning and hire a bike for the day?
(Will be meeting up with the Honda rider friday arvo, and driving back Sun-Mon, so won't need a bike for more than 3/4 of friday)

Looks like a pain using public transport, need to catch at least two trains and two buses. Total trip of about 2.5 hrs.

Doesn't sound like an option to me, but can't really give you anymore other ideas.

You'd probably need to catch the train into central station, walk over to Roma st transit centre and catch a bus north...

Not sure how many buses head up each day though.

Catch the Airtrain http://www.airtrain.com.au/ from the airport to Roma St Station for $13. Roma St Train Station is under the Transit Centre, once there, go up to the coach level and get a bus up the coast.

Otherwise, use a company like Airlink http://www.airlinktransfers.com.au They do a direct bus transfer door to door from Brisbane Airport to the Sunshine Coast.

If you have some spare time in Brisbane, let us all know, we can arrange a get-togehter, even if it is a few beers atthe pub.

Its cheaper to do the Brisbane flight plus a door-to-door than to fly to Maroochydore
