Memories...from the old days

a long time ago (like 25 years) when I had hair
a young bloke...me
working at GMH (now Holdens) was given the job
of getting 'partially built' new Commodores out of the
factory at Dandenong to a small workshop
in North Melbourne...and to keep track of them
and also the bits (wheels engine bits etc) that needed
to be returned to Dandenong
'coz they would not end up on the finished car.

I was told to go to this workshop and speak to John Harvey
(him of car racing fame) about how we would do this
but I was to tell no-one else...until it all became public
and not to mention the name ...Brock
