Local hoodlum problem

Mon Sep 21, 2009 7:05 pm

RANT!!!!!!!

I Don't know what to do.

Hmm these bunch of not so friendly hoods up the street cutting laps on about 4x 2smoke MX bikes and occasionally his mate on a little 4banger with little or no exhaust about every night until at least 9pm :x and once or twice in the wee hours :x :x Normally I wouldnt GaF but its so often and rattles the windows pretty bad and of course I cant sleep after that. GGGRRRRaaUUUgggHHH

I feel like putting the Megacycle back on and poke it up their driveway at 4am every morning they do it because if I cant sleep because of them they shouldnt sleep either   But you can guess what they are likely to do if I did when I am at work paying for their existence so they can sleep all day?
Prolly do my joint over or worse:?

Someone has called the law and so far they have missed them obviously, I am tempted to go and have a friendly chat you know all nice and calm and let them know the fuzz sometimes sit around the corner waiting for them, but I can just see them blaming me doggin' them in when the do get caught and I dont want that kind of attention.

All i want to tell them is to go quietly around their home, these are the things they dont mention when you move into a new house...yeah I know HTFU and yes I did similar as a teenager but not doing blockies pissing orf the neighbourhood time and time again and not at full noise either, was usually passing through as quietly as possible.

Oh well in time I spose it will sort itself out.

fARK me there they go again as I type and it is that bad it vibrates my ear drums :x :x :x

Is this some kind of what goes around comes around kind of ironic fate?... Anyway it will get me to the point where I will be that pissed off I will say something (and that takes a lot) but I am at a loss on how to deal with it without retribution from the obvious thuggish mentality?

Oh.... I can hear them coming back now, I guess they are about 1/2 km away and closing :x

Ok back to normal transmission, I might head out to a mates place for a while if it gets too bad again................Or just get my big stick

Maybe record them and show it to the coppers?
Get some of your neighbours to come with you and make a complaint.

All else fails, call a current affair... They are pretty hungry to report some news that they may ruffle local councils feathers and maybe get something done :)

I saw something in an old movie, many years ago ....... can't remember the name of it. I think it had a lot of Z900's......

Anyway - I think it had some sort of cable or wire going from one side of the street to the other ....... or maybe I'm wrong - it was so long ago .......... new_sleeping.gif

I have a similar problem,

It drives me nuts cos they start around 11pm and go until about 3am in the warmer months. With a baby due in a few weeks the last thing I need is this clown waking the baby all night. I heard the the tool kicking his bike into life the other day :x

I spoke to him politely once, got told where to go very quickly. I have just found he is now doing laps along my side fence, which is where my driveway is. Would be a real pity if I drove out the driveway at the exact same moment wouldn't it? I can even afford to trash my little car in the process.

I've contemplated the wire rope across the road, had it all planned out. Don't want to kill him, just knock him off, but i'd feel bad if something went wrong, if his uninsured unregistered bike hit someones car so i decided against that option.

a plank of wood aimed at the front spokes will usually get the point across. if that doesn't work, try wrapping said plank around their ears.

I hope the nutcases don't read this, I always think about that when out on lonely country roads :?

Hmmm, maybe we get all the Vic members with loud zorsts here one night, better still everyone waypoint it into their GPS on the way to the GP and stop out the front and rev it up

Imagine if the word gets around and thousands do it

Oh well made me feel better thinking that :D

Ok there they go again :x

I would go and talk to them, they may not be reasonable about it but you should always give them the chance to be reasonable.
If you are worried about them just deflect it a little and say "A few of the neighbours have been getting really irritated, complain to me regularly and are thinking about videoing you and taking it to the police."
Revenge makes you feel good until they retaliate and the last thing you want is to feel uncomfortable in your own home/neighbourhood.
The last resort should be ACA.
The last thing anyone needs is a quasi-current affairs program providing sensational, biased reporting on how irresponsible motorcyclists are.
The sooner ACA fades into insignificance the better!

Yes I had been thinking along those lines but how to target just them... Sugar in the tank, sand in the cog box, all those nasty things come to mind. But it isnt me to do that.

The good thing is it is pissin down rain and the little turds have packed up for the night, I hope 8)

A bit of rough justice would be about 5 mins of satisfaction me thinks before it turns against me.
No chance of them being reasonable, they are not the type, bandannas, tats, pseudo wannabe gangsta's. Leave ACA well out of it  These are not your typical local kids going for a fang either.

Basically everything i think of has potentially bad consequences for everyone even doing the lawful stuff, however I do think now I have seen the cops turning up often around the corner it wont be long before they are nabbed or at least chased off to someone else's area, but I wonder if they can actually stop them effectively since they all seem to be around 17, do hoon laws cover this situation, impounding bikes?
This is about the only time I really agree with those laws
