Kind of happy to read the edition of Two Wheels out today. I have a letter in 'Chain Mail' page 44 published.
I wrote in response to an article called 'Out of Time' in the Oct 08 edition of Two Wheels. It was about us losing our lives to the hustle and bustle of life, about the passion we feel for motorcycling, and about how we sometimes lose track of our priorities until it's too late.
It really struck a chord with me when I read it. I have had the worst year in living memory (and I know that none of you want to hear about it again), but I honestly have had lots of moments when I really thought it would be easier to not be here.
Kinda nice to read my letter in the mag.....

I don't post on here much. But I believe that if a person has a problem or is feeling down , no matter how many times you may talk about it, I for one would never say I don't want to hear it again.
Sometimes your soul needs time to heel. And if the process of heeling is to talk about the same thing time and time again then do so. Better to talk than to sink into a realm of despair where you find yourself that low your willing to give it all up.
So don't feel like that there is always something worth hanging around for ok.

Thanks Devo- very sweet.
Everyone on here has been through it with me......
HTFU is good advice for me - been trying to, but not real good at being hard.

Well being hard doesn't mean anything, remember no matter how bad things get remember someone else is probably doing it alot tougher . If you know what I mean.
To hard and you lose compassion. Loose compassion you loose your heart , you loose your heart , you loose your way.

I'll never lose compassion- that is my middle name- and maybe it is what gets me into trouble.

Thats a lovely middle name, Hey do what i do when I feel down. Get onto youtube and just let your mind go wild with songs you havent heard for a while that you never hear on the radio. I am doing it now.
Listening to dont tear it down by spy vs spy . 80's stuff gets me cheared up
Sorry if I am ranting ok

You aren't ranting- you are very kind... but I really was boasting about my letter- no-one here wants to hear my shit- it is well documented already.
