Yep, I had a little ride in an ambulance at 2.30pm on friday. Fear not though, I wasn't knocked off my bike!
I had a romantic night booked for my girlfriends birthday. An exxie room at the Hyatt, with gold seats to Wicked the stage show! I arrived at 2.00pm to check in and go down and pick up the tickets I had prebooked and prepaid! I checked in, went up to the room and then collapsed on the bathroom floor in screaming pain!! The ambo's arrived, gave me two shots of morphein and dragged me to St Vincents. St Vincents were kind enough to then give me some more morphein! They then took two lots of blood (the first lot the lab clotted it?) Then X-rays. By this time, we had missed Wicked!
At this stage, it looks like I have gall stones!!

For those who don't know, I have a knackered pancreas and it looks as though this has contributed to it. Those who have had friends or relatives go through this, or perhaps those who are in the medical profession will know exactly what I am going through right now. PAIN!!! I am once again on some pretty heavy duty pain killers to try and get me through this week. An ultrasound is booked for Friday when I get back to Melbourne (away with work again) and most likely I will be in horspiddle a few days later, either removing the stones or removing the gall bladder!
