I have to send a number of RD parts interstate, including the bottom half of an engine.
Looking for the cheapest option, because I'm a cheapskate!

I'm going to get a big box to put the crank case in, but I suppose I'll have to do a round of the freight companies to see who is the cheapest.

Primarily i deal with Australian Air Express for all my delivery needs. Give them a go and see if you like their prices.
Oh and stay away from Couriers Please, cheap is cheap for a reason.

if you sold them, why worry about cost for shipping the buyer should pay for it???
tnt or tolls would be the go.
alex uses tnt alot when shipping stuff
also if its under 7kg i think you can send with aus post

OzPost will take >7kg, but it costs a bit........having said that, I think they are still the cheapest out there.

I have sent a couple cages and 12 bars to Sydney and Brisbane. Usuall they are about 15kg.
Average cost under $20.
Have a look on the AUS post website, they have a really handy postage calculator.

Well, Australia Post's prices are actually quite good, and better than the freight charges of some of the other companies.
Adrian.... you could have just pushed her out!
