Some will know that I went to a wedding on Saturday. As weddings normally go, apart from seeing a few friends I havn't seen in a while, and everyone getting pissed, I usually find them to be long drawn out affairs, with the speeches being the same old crap, "thanks to blah blah......." etc.,
Saturday was entirely the opposite and was most definately the best wedding I have ever been to. To set the scene, there was over 11 people and 3 full continous hours of speeches throughout the night

, yet everyone was rolling around the floor with laughter all night!!!!!!!
Much of it had to do with the bride and groom's families. The Groom's family have been piss takers since they were unshakled off the boat and the Bride's family, are a kiwi family of outgoing entertainers with several acting, singing or dancing in one thing or another.
It was humour from the moment we suited up, till 2.30am in the morning when the Bride's eyes started not looking in the same direction and they went home!!!
The first speech from the bride's uncle set the scene. In the grooms younger days he had hit a flock of sheep killing 6 when arriving over the crest of a hill at 200kph! So he linked this in with the Kiwi's love of sheep shagging. With a 50/50 Australian-Kiwi audience, it went down with roars of laughter. This speech alone was one of the funniest things I have heard. When the video is done, I will try and clip the speech and link it!! It's just hilarious!

No need to go to comedy festival this year!!
The remaining 10 or 12 speeches were just as humerous. From the "Cunt" speech from the bride's lesbian best friend, to the "Hysterectomy" speech by the Brides 4 foot nothing 75 year old uncle, they had us in stitches!
During the after party, a few friends were talking about a wedding they went to recently, where the Bridesmaid, who had been learning to be a stripper, did a strip for the groom at the reception, in front of both families with the brides permission!!!!!

talk about appropriate!!!
It was a surprise present from the bride to the groom FFS!!!!
Anyone got any humerous wedding experiences???
