Metal shop / looking for aluminium plates

Postby javaman » Fri Jan 02, 2009 4:12 pm

Is there any metal shop around melbourne? I am looking for aluminium plates. Small size such as 20x 10cm bits for amplifier cases.

Thanks.

Thickness?
Try Smart aluminium or Capral for raw material. They both guillotine to size.
Alternately look for a laser cutting business in your neighbourhood. They can cut exactly to your requirements and could possibly "nest" your parts with someone else's offering a saving in material costs.
I got a sweater for my birthday. I realy wanted a moaner or a screamer.

Dunno what it does but it looks classy.
Definitely visit some laser cutting places to collect their scrap if you only require small quantities. I can give a contact for colored anodizing too - cheap cash rates.
