One would assume those who didn't vote are easy-going and happy to go along with the result of the poll.

We haven't got 30 people were asking for different things, they're just voting for their preference, then happy to go with the majority. My choice didn't win either, but I'll gladly go along with the majority.

Guess we'll wait and see if anyone else wants a plain t-shirt. What's the harm in a funny joke? Surely we should all respect the results of the poll that people have bothered to reply to - otherwise there's no point having one.

The results show that 'Qulifying' had three times the votes as 'no logo/slogan'. Your preference was tied with two others on 3 votes. Equal 3rd means it is not even in contention.
If we combine the two most popular choices, which both refer to speed, the result is 13:3.
If we combine all those relating to speed or racing, the results are 19:3.

Just the KSRC Logo - no slogan----------------------------10% [ 3 ]

300 KPH Speed Limited--------------------------------------13% [ 4 ]

I'm not Speeding - I'm Qualifying.--------------------------30% [ 9 ]

Only thing worth getting your leg over---------------------10% [ 3 ]

If you can read this, I'm walking----------------------------10% [ 3 ]

I suppose we are all free to make our own shirts if we want some thing a little more individual.

While being a pain in the ass all the slogans are good, however if this club grows and has a bigger public presence do we want to be seen as hoons or responsible type blokes!!!!

Although the slogans are funny to us will the public find it funny or just think "there goes another dickhead hoon on his bike"

Personally I will go with whatever the majority wants as they all seem pretty good and dont mind supporting the club and in the end who cares what anyone thinks but just some food for thought.

Couldn't agree with you more Mica. :) My point is not about what the shirts say, but rather individuals not accepting what we decided as a group. This exercise was intended to increase our profile in a organised manner. It's called heading Due North.
I personaly wouldn't care if the the three people who actually do the work around here(Dave, Dan & Jase) just made a decission. They should be applauded for throwing it open to the rif raf. Situations like this, when the system isn't respected, demonstraight how clubs can become autocratic.

KSRC has always been for the members, every decision made in relation to the group has always been put to the members for comment.
Probly more due to the fact that I'm just plain indecisive... or not, I'm not really sure..:-)
I didn't get my preference in the slogan either but I'm happy enough to go with majority.
As most of us are sensible enough to not ride in a t-shirt only, I don't think theres an issue about people riding with an "irresponsible" slogan on there shirts. If you overtook someone dangerously or rode irresponsibly with just the KSRC logo on the shirt that may give people the impression the group is full of hoons.... and it is.!!..:-) It is a Sportsbike group...
The slogan is there to have a laugh at and hopefully make people ask about the group..
Nevertheless, I will ask about getting some shirts made minus the slogan, I don't think this should be a problem... and if people want it, I will do my best to get it..
As this thread is getting too long I will start a new one asking for sizes Qty's and slogan / no sloagn so we can this off the ground..

Dan, how's the new artwork going...:-)

prob won't know till wednesday.

But I'll do the sample tonight if I can for the logo and slogan.

We're also looking into 2 shirts.. 1 with no slogan, and 1 with the slogan.
This should be viable providing we don't get his with artwork charges again.... So we'll assume at this point that is should be ok..

Please see new thread for sizing and shirt choice, so we get get an idea of numbers for the order.
