Sorry to keep dragging this out guys but we've had more thought on the t-shirt idea and have decided to do away with the large business add on the back and replace it with a catchy / smart / funny slogan...
Only problem is, we have to come up with one...!!
I'm sure theres enough quick witted smart arses on here that won't be a problem....

The reason behind this is,
a few people weren't happy about the advertising. (the quiet ones)
lack of dealer support to fund it.
leaving out other dealer sponsors
easier for artwork alterations

Having said that, we are still interested (for reasons mentioned in a previous post) in having dealers who support us mentioned on the shirt. This would be a much smaller, text only mention..
Something as simple as
Supported by
Parramatta Kawasaki
Melb Kawasaki
Qld Kawasaki...

The Qld and Melb (and any other state) dealers should be agreed by those in the state.
There will be no cost to them to have there name on the t-shirts but will be expected to offer the members something in return.. ie a discount..
Verification of being a KSRC member to get the discount will be...... you guessed it... you'll be wearing the t-shirt...
We'd also like the dealers to buy a few t's to get the numbers up....

Sorry again guys but we want to do this right and if anything needs changing later its easier and cheaper to change text....

Has Kwaka Aus been approached at all??

Sometimes companies are quite helpful, especially if you are after modest funds. The trick is to explain in detail what the funds are to be used for and explain how the funds can be traced (ie not siphoned off).

And do a lot of sucking up...

Not interested... and the copyright issues can be a fine line. But having a store being a sponsor clears as of alot of issues, as they are supporting KSRC, and they are the ones paying for the rights to use the big K, etc.

ok..i tried to post yesterday, but my email didnt work still obviously... i made the suggestion that we have a dealer from each state listed as our prefered dealer, like wen u see a t shirt with a bands tour dates etc, maybe just have Vic- whoever they are-phone number, NSW-dealer-number,SA dealer-number etc u get the drift...now, i think if we offered em a free plug, in exchange for a small donation to set up costs $50 each maybe?? its not a lot to pay for advertising...and if we can get a few states on board, we pay set up costs or internet fee....also we offer them the chance to buy our shirts off us, and sell em in a shop at say $35 (so they can make a few $$ off us as a return) (we still sell em at $25 tho so ppl save by buyin thru us)... or they may want to give em away to buyers of kwakkas??..personally i dont think kawa parra would mind if we had say Boltons Kawa adelaide on the same shirt, and we dont have to charge em much, just a small name, no logo or nething..hows that sound?? just an idea...
now...for slogans..i like that idea...
