Im not sure about what the law thinks of them but im sure if they want to defect you for something they will find something no matter how standard the bike is.

I got one off ebay out of UK.

it only took a week to get here and was no dramas

Not even close to being legal. But damn they look good.
They local constabulary had made a Mudguard measuring device out of a coupla pieces of wood to do the road side defects when they were blitzing up here prior to Xmas.
Cheers Brett

I beg to differ... If there is no law enforcement present to enforce such laws, then technically the law does not exist until there is law enforcement at the time of the law being broken. :) - this being in relation to speeding, bald tyres, undertails, etc.. (not in the same category as murder etc) of course!!! :) :)

so ur saying..if a tree falls in the forest, and no1 is around to hear it, it is IN fact illegal, cos the tree doent have a rear fender, and u could get pinched for it....but only if u get pinched and u make a noise, will ne1 hear about it....

or something...

are they legal?? no

but they fcukin cool, hey most pipes are illegal and everyone has em.

And the ZX10 is illegal in NSW, but they still sell em and ppl ride em.

It would suck to get busted though, but I think it's unlikely, never seen em in NSW testing.

Stick one on and keep your original bits. If anyones gets fussed about it them you'll know and you can always go back.

nah you've lost the plot Duane, the law exists regardless, whether someone is there to enforce is the difference between it costing you points/$ and you riding along happily :D
