Big thanks to oroadsports Chris - you're a legend

I pulled onto Pittwater Road yesterday evening, only to find my back tyre was completely flat and the bike steered like a cow. I managed to get out of the traffic and onto the footpath and was trying to push my bike back to the office - damn it's hard to push, but fifty times harder when the tyre is dead flat!

Anyway, so there I was, sweating and pushing my arse off, when a friendly guy by the name of Chris pulled his funky little zx6 over and offered his help. I'd already called for help, so was just getting the bike out of the way, but Chris stopped and chatted with me for about half an hour, keeping me company until help arrived. He had an oroadsports sticker on his bike and said he checked out ksrc occasionally (but when he said his username a truck went past and I didn't catch it!) - so just wanted to publicly thank him and tell him he was a legend. A friendly legend.

Cheers to everyone who stops and helps other bikers.

Chris

Was going to get a new tyre fitted before the supers anyway, so if it had to happen, it couldn't have been better timing.

Thanks again Chris - I misheard your username as 'Mudgie' but of course a search turned up nothing. Really appreciated the company!

I got home fine - Dave doubled me on the mighty zx9, then we turned around, drove back to Brookvale with a trailer and got my baby home safely - so I left home for work 6:30am and got back at 1am, so it was a long day.

Pssst - Brett - I'm your main squeeze? I thought I was your squeeze on the side, not the main one

Good stuff budgie.

Cath, you gotta get a tubeless repair kit. Will set you back $50 and will have you mobile again in about 1/2 hour.

Will be getting one asap - probably this weekend. Dave had one (that's why I was waiting on the side of the road for him), but when we tried using it, we figured the gooey shit had gone off (very old kit) So, I'll get a nice newy shiny kit
