princess plates

Postby kellz » Fri Feb 10, 2006 6:33 am

yay i now have my princess plates, no longer on my last in line plates....

did my test yesturday, dam the gpx is hard to do the U-turn with, thats teh onlything i lost points in, 1 point, foot down, just didnt have the right position to hold it up, either 2 points for line, or totaly fail for droppinging, i thought that 1 point was my best option.

so now i count down my 363 remaining days left on my restricted licence...

oh its gonna be so hard with temptation sitting there everyday i go and get on my litle 250...

Congratulations on passing ur P's..

It's very hard to just be satisfied with the 250 when most of the bikes on the road are so big and powerful hehe

I was 'going' to just get a Super Sports 600 and anarchy it, but you can get royally screwed from insurance etc if anything were to happen, so I'll stick to wringing the neck off the ZXR.

All the best.

u get off good if you only lose a point for foot down.
in vic if u put ur foot down its and auto fail i think. or max points for that particular part of the test.

good stuff anyway.
not long now.
hang on...
i've still got 144 days till i get off my restrictions. :D

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

WTG Kellz. Given that you're on P plates and in NSW aren't you eligible for a LAMS bike now? Hyosung comet 650L amongst a few other options.
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"

L's and P's in general are both already restricted to a list of LAMS, not just '250's' like in other states.

However, if you are over 30 or hold a Gold Licence you maybe upgrade to any bike once on your P's, still can not carry a pillion though.

Way to go! Handy hint, just dont think about how long you've got left, that REALLY stretches it out and makes you cuss how long you've got left.

The best thing is to just get the practice in & enjoy the 250 for what it is, have fun and you'll be sweet :).

Very good.

I remember when I had my little ZZR250 and a guy pulled out in front of me on a ZX7 and just rocketed away. I wanted one of them, but I waited.

You lose a point for putting your foot down? Pffff...

I mean, dont get me wrong, there are situations where you shouldnt put your foot down, but there are also situations when you should...

Congrats...

You go girl!

363 days will pass - and it will give you plenty of time to read magazine reviews for the new ZX14 before you trade your GPX in on one ;-)
