Hey, I know that track.... its Zandvoort.... I've been there....

hehe the dutch are funny (I know, because I am one) they had to build the hills sothat the track wouldnt be completely flat... (Like Assen)...

It's all lies, I'm afraid. The rev-limiter is set to 15.5k (rev-counter over-reads). Mind you, so do all the other 600's (eg ZX6 over-reads by 1000k).

Anyone would think they did it on purpose

Hey, I wonder if speedo's also over-read :?:

Sorry, I should have issued a 'sarcasm warning'

*sarcasm duly noted* - but as a point of interest with speedo's over-reading, I read with some interest the following observation in the lastest AMCN.......

" The R1 was regularly showing almost 300kph at the end of the straight........however the Stalker radar-gun told the 'truth' at closer to 270kph.......which is acceptable error, given the 10% error in speedo reading as advised by the manufacturer......"

makes sense, 10% of 300 being 30, so 270kph would be an accurate top-speed of an R1.......

I am happy with the radar-gun readings for a 12R
