after a bit of sleuthing, tinkering and cursing.

the 03 ZX6R racebike project i brought from fowles for $2000 is running!!!

without keys... :twisted: :twisted:

sounds good with the sports pipe too :twisted: :twisted:

need to butcher tank lock and we'll be cookin!

parts on order from kawasaki already.

sort glass on monday

tyres before next trackday

may spring for some braided brake lines too.

Good stuff.. Make sure you get a switch with a light in it so you know if the ignition is left on. My fuel cap was operated by a screwdriver.. an easy race mod.. :-)

If your after brake lines we're about to do a group buy.

Damn that soon?? I may not even have my leathers back from the shop by then........ or (insert other excuse here)..... :lol:

I've done the oil and filter change, lubed the chain, removed the choke cable, ditched the ign from the triple clamp, wired in an on/off switch under the seat, fitted ram duct and dash braket from other bike and was tempted to wip out the choke butterflys while i had the airbox off but I'll do some more homework first.

Took the bike for a quick strap to see if there were any g/box issues....goes good, even popped a wee mono shifting into second.
