1st licence loss of 2006??

Postby Neka79 » Wed Feb 01, 2006 9:35 pm

well wot a day..went to town on bike, saw chloe's olds off to argentina at airport, out to Hoey with greeny and got my suspension set up....headed back to check out a house for me and clo..then it pissed down...got soaked...then headed home..freezing cold & raining..then it happened....

heading up the freeway, where the freeway goes from 110 to 90 back to 110....bugger all traffic, held a steady speed all the way up..keeping up with traffic...then i see the lights of the unmarked car behind me...

pulled over, gave me a lecture, took my licence..came back & told me he was guna send me a "bill"...

if he does indeed send it, i guess ill lose my licence again, as i was on a probationary licence, with only 1 point....

ne1 kno wot happens wen u get a fine and 3 points and ur on a probationary? ...hope he never sends me the ticket...

IF you're lucky Neka you'll get the letter I got that will give you 2 options, license suspension for 3 months or be a REALLY REALLY good boy and lose no points for 12 months (fucking hard in Victoria), lose a point means you lose your license for 6 months.

If you're not lucky then I guess it's PT which can be either public transport or private torture, take your choice, not much difference between the two here :)
A good mate will bail you out of jail, a true mate will be sitting in the cell next to you saying "Damn, we fucked up!!!"

i reckon you'll be right.
surely he wouldve given you the ticket on the spot.

maybe he went and checked your license and saw you would lose it if he fined you and decided to let you go - but to scare the sh!t out of you first.

Good luck with it.

Mate that eats big fat rhinoceros cock.

One thing though.
Everytime i have been pulled over for speeding the cop has been a really nice guy and given me that little peice of paper then and there.

I've never heard of getting sent the notice when you have been puller over.

Mate you might have gotten lucky.

ok several things here...
1. im not on P's..im on probationary...i had to go 12months without loss of a point. this is becuase i have had my licence for 8 yrs, but had just got it back in july after going 6 months without for DUI....so maybe its another 6 mth..or maybe it will be 12?? dunno...

2.it was so cold i couldnt get my licence out...i had to hand him my wallet & he took my licence out for me...my fingers didnt work...

3.chloe was standing there in the pissing down rain giving him the puppy dog eyes...

4. i actually saw him write out the ticket...he just didnt hand it to me..said he didnt want to stand round in the rain any longer...mind u i saw the whole ticket had been written out..but he never gave it to me....

5.yes..it does suck a big rhino dooddle...

6.i dont want to spend the next 6/12 months riding around unlicenced...

Still say its fucken strange not to give you the ticket.

Lets see what our resident SA porker has to say about this.

Not like you just to leave Clo standing there, thought you would have had her getting you off the ticket.

Might have checked it out seen you where on a probationary and changed his mind but it would be a might unusual, usually if they have gone to the trouble of writing out the ticket they hand it too you unless its so flimsy he didnt think it would make it home in the rain.

Walking sucks but ya do the crime you do the time, i dont think getting caught riding under suspension would be worth it unless you really had to and i might add it has looked appealing at times to me because i need a job and can only get so far on public transport.

Wouldnt do it on a sportsbike just get a cheap shitbox car thats slow as and register it in ya girlfriends name thatl keep them off ya tail so you can get to work.

They where pulling me over reguler and checking my licence just for riding a shiney green bike even if i was doing the speed limit and they never seemed to like the look of me grey hair.

Only 3 months to go for me. walk.gif
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?
