What are some recommended online stores for buying bike gear, such as leathers and boots? They can be in any state, not just NSW.

I got my Leather jacket from the stateS...
http://www.kiernanracing.com tagged as gift, turned up after about 7 days. and cost me about $540 landed from memory about 18months - 2 years ago.

As for local there are one or 2, but nothing really seems to stand out as CHEAP considering they save money being on the net...

I got my jacket from Brown Bear leather... I had a fairly alright dealings with them (had to send it back because it was too small, but they sent me the correct size) at least 3 others I know had good dealings with them too, but someone else said that they didnt get a decent response....

was going to buy my touring bag from http://www.motorcyclemart.com.au but found it in the shop for same price then got 10% off that for being an MRA member.

Certainly no harm in window shopping though. Trying to buy a screen for my bike from a bloke on ebay but sent an email 2 weeks ago and no response as yet so thinking i'll be heading elsewhere for that.

I have no qualms with spending mney elsewhere if I can't get customer service when I want it.

Although online stores are great, why don't you just go for a ride because buying clothing online can be a bit tricky. It very hard to get the right fit.
If you live in NSW, Helmet Warehous in Bankstown is great for prices.
I always check out the difference in prices to other retailer, even online.
Just an example there the VR2 Assassin helmet from Bikebiz is atleast $100 cheaper in Helmet Warehouse, plus no freight cost.
They also have a range of latest apparel as well to choose from.
Just ask for Shane or Mark, they own the joint and they should be able to help or order it in for you.
P.S. They are also great in getting parts for import bikes for great price.

The address is 401 Hume Highway Bankstown. If you are comming from the the north side it is on your left. Make sure that you are for more discounts. You never know unless you ask.
