Tankslapper Racing colours. Just a preliminary thing at this point, but this is how we are thinking of painting the bikes.
New ones added down the bottom.

Well spotted... or striped, as the case may be...
Hemi, I can see where you're going with the schemes on the R1 and the 7R being the reverse of each other... suggestions: make both wheels on both bikes orange, paint the front guards black, go with the scheme that's now on the R1 (having the nose and tail of the bike in the more dramatic colour in the scheme looks better), and run black number panels, with white numbers.

Well fcuk Hemi that is Just sacriledge! You heathen, how dare you even contemplate painting a KAWASAKI RACING MOTORCYCLE any other colour but green! You should have your testicles hacked off with a blunt rusty hack saw and mineral turpentine poured over the remnants
Like this Hemi!

I agree with Strika Hemi,Do your old 7R green ,do your R1 up like either a, PITT or FORTUNA look a like.
When i re-do my track bike (after 1st crash

)it will be in Fortuna colours.

As your thinking of a racing team you will probably be needing a fair bit of paint and i was thinking mission brown is looking a bit dated

.
Must have a big can of of orange left over has someone been painting kubota tractors or sumthing?
You need to be able to spot them easy across the padock a ways, have you considered something like a flourecent licorish allsort....dayglow colours but keep it simple.
I did have a copy of photo chop here somewhere i should hunt it out and install it.

Steph made an interesting point at the australian supers...
the bikes that have a lot of white on them always run at the back...
I laughed, but race after race it proved to be true...

Thanks for the ideas and opinions (yes even the bad ones), keep them coming.
Unfortunately the number boards have to be the colours they are, it is racing regs. I hate having to run red ones on the R1 but there ya go. Also half the reason we swapped the colours on the 7 was to get around the white number boards it must have, but I must admit both I and my brother are thinking about swapping it back to the R1 style scheme.
The Nemo thing is unfortunate. But meh, it's all good. I really just want to get them to stand out on the track and not have the same old paintjobs everyone else does.

Flat matt black Radar absorbing paint!!!....then ya can road ride with em too!!
Gotta be honest Strawbs orange doesn't do anything for me, I always thought R1 blue and Kawa green in a tribal type pattern would look amazing.
