this bloke has thought he might like to upgrade
...to another Kwaka of course
and a sportsbike too

I am looking at a few
and i would like opinions please

something that fills what i am doing now....(with the GPx)
touring one or two up (a comfy seat and Ventura are needed)
leading a pack?..mob? group of KSRCians on rides
scratching around Reefton
boring stuff up the Hume or Calder
a track day at the Island
and the run to the hardware

thoughts pleeze

and no smartarse comments about...MachIIIs or GPzTurbos

cheers

Well smitty
I have to say the 12R
think it would suit you down to the ground
all comes down to what you want to spend

if you dont want to spend that much then a later model 9

can see why a 10R isnt on the list not really for two up and a commuter to the hardware

but i still love mine

you could buy a Harley V Rod

dont think your old enough for a Hardly Dangerous yet

so go the 12, or the 9 or 7

Personally Smitty I would go with either the 12 or the 9 for 2up riding. In either case your pillion is going to be perched up high so I hope she is ok with that. I have the 12 and it does everything you say but then the 9 is a great bike too. Either way you win :D

You're a rev head that likes big engines...I voted for the 12

The 7's aren't too comfortable riding 2-up (speaking from experience). And they'd a fair bit heavier than the GPX I'd reckon. I voted 12. Can't beat Recycled's Black Beauty for looks and performance!

Smitty, I voted for the 9 and then read what you wanted. After which I reckon the 12 is probably the go particularly for 2 up use. The nine is a great bike but for regular pillioning the seat on the 12 is much better I think.

9 or 12...depending on wether you like comfort or corners better.......

cant go wrong with either of them really.

having ridden bitch on a 7, two 9's and a 12 recently :D I can say from a pillion perspective that they're all fine if you are short :? As I am not  the 12 is a little.... crampy.... you have to fold up like origami to fit on that monster - but it is hell fun  The 9's (both had ventura racks) was the most "comfy" with seat + footpeg position, and the 7... well, you'd have to tie me down to keep me off a 7 :supz: comfy enough, decent footpeg position, rockin' little bike. that'd be my choice :D -J.

firstly smitty has back problems (its an age thing) so he wont get a 7r.

secondly what the he'll is he gonna do with a 12. look at it.

maybe a 250 smitty. dont wanna get heart attacks from speed or anything
