It was very opportune, they were asking if we had ridden
anything interesting in and I said why don't interview someone from
KSRC. They jumped at it and said that's a great idea. We all stepped
back and pointed at Ian Pick him. We got the plug in, Ian spoke about
the clubs roots, that you were the founder, it's free to join etc etc.
Ian did a good job I think, as he said, no time to rehearse, just start
talking. I probably would have gone to pieces in front of the camera, it
was easy sitting where we were.
I told them about the photo of Reece and they want a copy, so
they can put it up on the show. Dan's going to e-mail them a copy. Good
bunch of guys and all Kwakka nuts.

NB: For those thinking we will inundated by older members. They backed
Ian into a corner and he admitted he was probably the oldest member in
the group. He said we have members of all ages, women members that ride
ZX7R's etc. (there you go Bobbi)

I haven't taken a pillion yet, Ian's daughter didn't come along last
night. My tyres are scrubbed in now, still got about 10mm chicken strips
though. Really haven't been to many places to get cranked over yet. It's
been a bit of a struggle getting the bike run in, because the weather
has been absolutely shit here. It rained for nearly 3 weeks after I got
it and has rained pretty much off and on since. So I've had no choice
but to get it dirty and ride in the rain, as I was hanging to get out.
Been doing a bit of riding in past few weeks, weathers on the improve.
Rode to work yesterday and today, 2 deg in the morning, but worth it.
Got about 700k's on the clock now.

Yeh, I had a similar conversation at PI with a guy with an XR6 turbo. I told him Dans ZX6 would be quicker, even with Dan riding it...

yes..im a big fan of that game...tho wen im in the ute i try it on them
(bikers) to see how they react...sum get into it, sum r pussies.lol....ill
never forget the 3 kids in an orange vx monaro down glenelg 1 nite..pull up
at the lights..i pull up between him & his mate in a supra..lane
splitting...ne way there hangin out the window yelling at each other & im in
the middle, full leathers etc, all the gear...lite goes green & i let em
take off in a cloud of tyre smoke from both cars....i follow closely in line
with the rear passenger....hes trying to hang out the window & give me the
finger...and laughing at me...so u kno me..i crack it...up on 1 down the
broken centre line markings between the supra & the monaro....i get clear,
pull up at the next set of lights on the centre line so they can both pull
up either side...they pull up, and now were all best mates, there
encouraging me....so i launch off the lights, past a truck goin the other
way (hes tooting the air horn at me) and str8 past a copper......turning
into hindley the copper pulls in, follows me to where i park, and yells out
at me "u might wanna find sumwhere else to do that son, behave hey"

but they (the TV show producers) are gonna shoot a DVD of the show to danno ..prior to it airing.....
coz not everyone can get Ch31......
(and I certainly can't atm ....coz my Teev blew up on Sunday....doh!!!)
