Sorry I dont have any pics yet guys. I havent taken any yet. Will have them tomorrow.
But long story short, I got clipped by a car driver on monday who later decided it was in his best interest to leave me on the road and get away as fast as he could. After sliding around 15 meters (thank God I had safety gear, the jeans are looking bad, but jacket is 100%, and helmet didnt touch the ground), i am Now I'm left with the ZX look very second rate and a bill for $2800 to repair her.
Guys, need some help here. I can get the parts I need to get her back on the road for around $2200, but labour is around the $500 mark. I was wondering if anyone could help me source some parts to lessen the blow. Parts I need:
Right Top faring, Middle Faring, Bellpan
Right rear brake lever and bracket.
Right front brake lever.
Steering end thing.
Mirror.
Engine cover.
Exhaust Pipe.
5 hrs labour to fit all that...
Bill $2800...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Kieran.

Check Eastern Creek wreckers, they have lots of stuff for late-model bikes...

, do a BBQ, ya bike will be better than new

Bummer about that Kieran, I'm guessing you didn't get the plate or anything so your left to foot the repairs yourself... That really sucks..
If you had said left side bits and pieces I may have been able to help with a couple, unfortunately my off was a right side too.
I was talking to the guys at Eastern Creek wreckers and they don't have much in the way of zx10 bits but give em a call and so they can keep an eye out for ya.. Ask for Neil or Donnie and tell em your from KSRC and ya know me, they may look after ya.. they may not....
And if ya need a hand to fix her up just let me know. For some strange reason I have a bit of experience fixing bikes..

Mate, that is just shithouse. Hopefully the puss bucket gets it back in spades one day.
Can't help with the parts, but if you need a hand for reassembly or picking stuff up or if you need another 10 to see how/where bits go just let us know when and where.

Get the parts and do it yourself, can probably get the pipe reskinned as well.
Engine cover you can get from the states for half the price they are here and probably the mirror as well, check out the ebay stores.
I dont know how well fairings travel but you can also get them from the us.

Sorry to hear about the off mate, if ya wnnw fly me up I'm happy to help with labour
When I lowsided the 6 at the track I couldn't find anything second hand locally for a 2005 bike. Went to E-bay and sourced everything I needed(LHS Foot peg ,bracket, gear lever) , in fact I also got a complete second set and the complete RHS, pillion pegs and a rear brake caliper (all with less than 140 miles on them) for less than the cost of just the foot peg braket new here in OZ. Only catch is they took 2-3 weeks to get here. But as a bonus with what I saved I bought some bling for the bike, a new chrome D/B screen and some crash knobs.

mate this is a chance for a bit of bling....
for example bar ends..u can get anodised colour ones for abt $20 a set...if u need pegs, u can get the matching pegs to the bar ends for abt $30 a set...if u need indicators, u can get little carbon ones for like $40 a set (i kno u have flush fronts tho right??)...wot im saying is, only buy genuine if u HAVE to..as for fairings, can they b repaired?? much cheaper...
labour?? hell id offer dave etc a BBQ and a carton ...cheaper than $500 ...

Hey Kieran, how bad are ya panels, if they are only cracks and scuffs I can fix em up for ya. Ya may be able to save a couple and I can get a spot on colour match.Could save ya big time
If ya wanna go original, I'm sure I can tag along with Dave, throw me tools in the back of the ute and we can have a "fix Kypezs' bike arvo/night"
Just shout out mate.
Oh and bad luck mate, my worst nightmare too, droppin the bike with no full insurance

,yours is worse it wasn't your fault
Good to see ya ok though

don't forget if you are after standard type levers, try the MCS ones, only about $15 as opposed to a crap tin more for OEM!!!
And ebay it up dude! Just pick dudes with newar on 100% feedback and a lot of sales, you should be right

I have bought stuff off there and it got here in a few days!
