Drag racing.

i went to off street drags last night. it never really appealled to me as my general thoughts are that sportsbikes are made for the corners but i had great fun. Any place that encourages a big burnout and then to go as fast as you can, can't be too bad. :lol:

Come day light savings and warmer weather, I say the Vic boys make an evening of it.. Should be fun..

Dan im in . Went out to Calder bout 20yrs ago :oops: on a xpr#da and had a ball . Must try to find a photo . Kept getting beaten by a smartarse on a GS1000 with a turbo bolted on it , and wheelie bars . Bloody spewzie riders . Talk about adreanalin rush .

I went back in the early 90s when I got the GPx
times were shite for the first few runs ...too much smoke :twisted:
then
the next were shite as the bars kept wanting to hit my chin :wink:
the last run of the night
nailed it....11 sumfing and fast speed



went home feeling good 8)

Two Wheel Torque Had a sunday bike drags at Heathcote Park Dragway on Aug 7th.
They advertised it often on their show on Channel 31 was going to mention it on here but forgot. It got washed out in the arvo so best we stayed home. They spoke of doing another next year so we may have to keep a lookout for that as well. The bike didn't need to be reg and some juniors were draging too. So maybe a few on my kids mini's :lol: :lol:
Me on the KTM and Dan on the Yam PeeWee 50 ! hahahahaha
