Pity you're not in Melbounre, I could giver your bike a run and give you a graph with any number you like on it

Using different "standards" gives different results. Using a dyno to get a number is wrong. It should be used for diagnostics and comparisons. Do a run, make a mod do a run. Run 1 gives a vluse of 1, run two might give a value of 1.1 or .99 and you know if you're going in the right direction or not.

They're fun to run bikes on back to back for bragging rights too :D But to simply pull a number off it doesn't mean much, it's just a number.

He's got impressive numbers though. 158 to 195 is great Image

Every shed should have one

Steve
exactly..and also for tuning/tune up purposes
I saw what happened with mine when it went on about 3 yrs ago
before/after zorst fitment and fiddle with timing chain to get cam timing spot on followed by a carb fiddle..ooops tune
rear wheel hp went from about 95 (from memory) to about 105 with all that
took about an hour and a bit of fiddling/screw driver use
and a new set of plugs and air filter as well
was a different bike

cheers

It would be all the trips to the tyre joint that would worry me, they only seem to last a fortnight on most of the 12s around here.

it will be interesting too see what you get !

the dyno i have been using must be defective as it gives power at wheel not crank.

I don't delete or edit too many posts, but this is ridiculous. Please keep your petty name calling and abuse to private emails.

Yep, I've locked the 9 or 12 thread as that had gone too far...

Looks like the moderators may have to start moderating if this happens again...
