Postby Jonno » Fri Jul 22, 2005 2:25 am

I found this article on adiesel powered bike very interesting, I was thinking why no one had tried to do it before then came across this in a search.
In fact I find it hard to believe but it looks the goods. :?

Its a ideal farm bike scotty i have seen it before and would probably make a great commuter too the way fuel prices are going.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

haha, imagine, Hardly Dangerson transition to diesel would be simple and likely perform better, but I am sure they would mess that up.

Diesel's are much more economical than petrols.

There have been a few diesel sportbikes; I'll find some links or photos tonight.
ZXR"900" - In pieces... again.
Another engine gone but at least the purple and pink are still there, oh yeah.

There was an Enfield Diesal comuter out in the 90's

wasn't overly fast, but it only needed a few liters to around 400km's so it would have made a great courier bike (for a courier who doesn't do 100km/h the wrong way down a one way street that is)
