recognize this zzr1100

hi guys
i just picked up a 2000 zzr1100 from a salvage auction and the keys have a kawasaki sportsbike riders club key ring and a kelen kawasaki key ring.
i was wondering if anyone recognizes this bike?
i would love to be able to find more of its history, it seems to have been rather well looked after and appears to only have 25000kms on it.
it has been dropped on the left side but only has relatively minor damage.

looks very tidy and kinda familiar......but I can't place the owner. Great bikes

Thats my old bike, short history, fell over whilst parked on my driveway recently, Put an insurance claim in as no one in Newcastle was willing to quote on the repair, ended up with an insurance quote of $5,000. to fix it..Shannons said that as it was older than 15 years it was an economical write off. Paid out in full and I cashed the plates in.

The day it fell over I had fitted New Plugs
Front tyre was replaced 4 weeks earlier
front fork seals replaced at same time as the tyre
Typical of a carby bike, it needs full choke to start it and once warm hang on tight as it is a rocket.
Handling is very good.
I bought the bike off Rusty as, a member here and the rego was RUD35

I really enjoyed the bike but at 69 was pushing my luck.. Enjoy the beast.

yes its definitely the bike going off the previous rego number, other than the scratches , cracked indicator and broken footpeg its a really tidy bike, i havnt repaired any of the paint work yet but replaced the indicator and foot pegs, gave it a oil change and cleaned the carbies as when i got it it would not idle at all, and it now runs sweet..

Excellent, the idle was always in the 500 to 650 rpm range, I always had the bike serviced at either 'The Bike Doctor' or 'Just Cycles' at Gateshead and usually serviced every 2,000 klms. As I said the handling was excellent and when I replaced the front tyre it had next to no chicken strips. Anyway glad it went to a good home, enjoy..

it has come to a good home, i usually wreck out bikes i buy from auction , but i seen this far to good a bike to do that to..

I bought the bike from another KSRC member about 4 years ago, never had a problem until the bike fell off the side stand on my driveway, it is stamped concrete and looks like the side stand was sitting on the edge of a stamped section and must have slipped forward off the side stand and you saw the damage, not much at all. The paint seems to be the big cost.

My previous bike was a cruiser, a Kawasaki vn1600 Nomad and before that a Kawasaki ZX12R, most of my bikes have been long term ownership and at the moment am fixing up a Kawasaki VN 900. Us old guys have to slow down sometime and this looks to be my time.
