I doubt it as there is a very healthy kwikka dealer in town allready ( North Coast Kawasaki/ team Moto Maroochydore), however I wonder if Sunstate has become the latest team Moto aquisition or it is another store in another location perhaps?

I will be checking this out 2morrow! :?

When my brother was shopping around for a new bike he got that a lot...not sure why or what the story is, but every single shop that did that lost a potential sale. We have no tolerance for that kind of crap in our family. If you are in business to sell something, then you'd better bloody well have stock of what you sell!

They had stock i just dont think they had a ride bike, and i had the cash too.

Just wanted to test ride one you would think i have enough grey on me head to ride a oil boiler.

I will eventually find a dealer with one available for a test ride and dont expect it too be exiting but you never know. :)

It's funny though...bikes are a lot more of an impulse buy compared to a car...if it was me, I'd have pulled one out of a crate and had the mechs prep it for ya...but I'm funny like that...I'd hate to see money walking out the door :?

I thought that funny to, as Northcoast is not far down the road. I should clarify, on Sunstates two page spread in AMT above where all the "marque" banners are there is a Kawasaki one.

Either it is a misprint or who knows, perhaps one of you guys going up there maybe able to confirm this as

1. I thought Kawasaki only liked independent dealerships
2. Sunstate always used to be primarily Suzuki and Euro brand dealership.
3. Seems silly to have two Kwaka dealerships so close.

I agree 1 through to 3!
hehe Northcoast may be very interested in this as I know most of the people in there on first name basis. I will drop by this morning at N/C Kwikka then Sunstate and report back 8)

I must also add that they have opened a new dealership in Hervey Bay so it might be the mysterious Kwaka perveyor of all motorcycles that are magical.

Nope no so anymore seems that every dealer will be selling the big four.
Pro-honda has now brought out star yamaha and Whales as well.
Team-moto(Honda) has brought out mid town kawa also.

Hey scotty37 did you get to check out sunstate? Is it only NorthCoast/TeamMoto that sells kawasaki on the sunshine coast ?

I was down @ Whales on saturday talking to a mate that now works in accessories there and he was saying they will be getting the "PRO" paintjob on the shop at the end of the year.

I was good i stayed away from the zx10's.

Didn't make it to Sunstate today.

North Coast Kwaka is closed on Sundays, but they are Team Moto and ATM are selling only Kawasaki's, they have changed all shop colours to the Team Moto colours but on their company vehicle they are advertising the big four.. Will be doing the rounds tomorrow.

Stay tuned.

Can you give me more details on this?

Spoke to local Northcoast kwaka owner today, he said Kawasaki only like the One dealer to sell Kawasaki's(we knew that) he was also very surprised about this piece of info too, said only Kwaka dealers can sell in the area given to them ( radius of 50km or so) and no one else can sell them in their area. Maybe another dealer can buy from them being the local dealer but not direct from Kawasaki. Anyway next stop will be sunstate as I know an ex-kwaka salesman is now working there. This could create quite a stir but it must be a misprint.

So Alex give me all the info mate. More info the more drinks I get
