Panel shop in Melbourne?

Hi all,

I need some fairings resprayed on my 9R. Im looking for the best paint and panel shop in Melbourne. Im not after a cheap job, im after the best. Im in bayside Melbourne, but prepared to travel.

they did my GPx (which is a bastard to paint with pearls and the like)
they also did a top job on Robs ol' ZX7r

Mate, can't go past Bike Magic. Graydon the guy who runs the joint, is a top bloke (even if he does ride an R1). Did a great job with mine and even went the insurance company for me. Usually pretty busy though.

Thanks for the suggestions. I just wanted the best, not the cheapest.

Just a question. When respraying the fairing, does one need to buy new sticker decals?

I need some "work" done on right side of the fairing :oops:

in just about all cases..yes
the panel is repaired and resprayed without the sticker (its taken off)
the sticker is put on and the panel 'finished' in cleared or as its
known 'keyed' to the paint

why?
its very difficult to mask and repair around the sticker

I hate to tell you this JavaMan but our bikes are particularly $$$ to repair. That flashy Jap Sun design is made up of a combination of stickers and paints, the stickers are not cheap either. Mine cost me about $500 to do one side and that was 'on the cheap'.
Motorcycle's are inherently unstable... :twisted:
