Thinking of getting one of those fandangled moving picture thingoes for the motor bicycle, being a simple lad from a simpler age what is the best value for money, i.e. cheap, good battery life and environmentally tough and easy to fit easy to use/edit camera out there on the market. Look forward to the well researched and verbose responses, keep the tech talk to a minimum I have a very short attention span :D :D :D :D :D :kuda:

I've got a Drift Stealth 2, which has a dashcam mode so it overwrites itself in 10 minute blocks. About 3 hours battery life. Got mine for under $200. Has a tripod mount as well as the sticky ones so mounting is pretty flexible. Got mine from

Quality is OK. Exposure can be funny.

The guy with the camera in dickfaber's photo live next door to me. Rides a Harley

I use a contour HD because they don't stick out anywhere near as the GoPro does, good battery life and picture quality. New ones have built in GPS where you've been and how fast ;)

Yeah I would be worried about the evidence issue but can you turn the GPS off for the road and back on to do lap times at the track?
