I have a mate who a couple of years ago had a bit of an off. He reckons his bike isn't written off technically but it needs some work. I think it's an 04-05 zed1000.
It ran pretty well when it was going and he hasn't started it since. I may be able to pick it up for $500.

What would I have to do apart from the obvious of fixing the broken shit to get it re registered (NSW).
If it isn't on the written off register I think it may be a cheap buy.

If it's not reported as written off you just need a blue slip inspection, same as an interstate rego transfer requires

Yeh that was a given.

So nothing will be happening. I'm guessing he didn't do a check a couple of years ago when he purchased it. As it was classed as a repaired write off in 07. Ha well time to find something else haha.
