Motorbike trailer

Postby Fossi » Tue Apr 21, 2015 8:59 pm

Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a motorbike trailer open or enclosed depending on price and build quality.

This is to carry two track bikes. I'm in Victoria, please point me in the right direction.

Thanks Fossi

I got this made as a one off to my specs. I needed something light weight (only got small car) to carry a heavy cruiser, ride on mower and 2 kayaks.
Hot dipped gal, adjustable tie down points, kayak racks, 12 months rego for $1,150. (I supplied the Kaneg wheel stand).

Sorry Fossi,

It's really an opened ended question. If your after something new and either opened or enclosed it's anywhere between $1500-8000!
I've had a mate buy an open one from Blackburn trailers. Which are located in Croydon.
I built my own enclosed one from a car trailer base.
A bit rough around the edges but it does its job without dropping 5-6 K.
Really it comes down to how safe you want your bike and gear to be. Especially if your staying overnight somewhere.

Mate simple fix, put some checker plate where the ramp is fit another front a wheel chock, move the existing one to the other side where there is already a floor and bingo.
