Was going to change my tips for the pole and race half way through FP3, but it was too late??

I'm watching it on the motogp website, :kuda:

Could have been a time difference issue, or simply just me..

That douche Rossi just took out Marquez on purpose even Rossi fan boys agree.
Yet because Dorna is limp wristed towards Rossi his points didn't get taken off him. Even though that effectively gave him 3rd place on a silver platter.
He has to start from the back of the grid with 3 penalty points given to him. Yet Hector got 2 penalty points for an incident in free practice.

Doesn't add up Dorna.......!!!!!

Rossi fan boys. No good for the championship if you took his points off him is it?

Wow what a joke, should be super excited about the championship coming down to the wire at Valencia but Rossi has really lost it. Can't believe he ran Marc so wide then kicked his bike...... If he is such a god like rider surely he could have out rode Marc and the spaniards to the victory..... Fan boys are out for blood today on the social media!

Good luck to Jorje at Valencia shit way to win a championship but hey Rossi threw it to him......can't wait to see Rossi try and fixer his way through the pack at Valencia.

I think Rossi acted like an arse but by the same token Marquez was being a bit of an arse as well. Seemed to be doing what he could to stuff Rossi's chances of catching Lorenzo. He could have waited until they both got Lorenzo and then nailed him on the last lap. All he really did was slow them both down and let Lorenzo get away.

Yep and I think the penalty should have applied to both as well, but then Marquez has gotten away with riding like a tool in the past and with the Spanish running Motogp I wouldn't expect anything else.

Statement from Repsol

“Dani Pedrosa achieved a great victory today in the Malaysian Grand Prix - a win that was unfortunately overshadowed by the unacceptable and unsportsmanlike conduct of Valentino Rossi against Repsol Honda Team rider, Marc Marquez.

“On the seventh lap of the race, with Marquez and Rossi immersed in a battle for third place that involved several overtaking moves between the two, the Italian - in an absolutely intentional action - dealt an unsportsmanlike kick to the Repsol Honda rider that knocked him to the ground.

“Although Marquez was fortunately able to escape unharmed from the attack, for Repsol the conduct of Rossi is absolutely unacceptable because it endangered - in a premeditated and unsportsmanlike manner - the safety of the Repsol Honda team rider. Repsol consider this an unsportsmanlike act incompatible with the values of sport and competition.

“Repsol are deeply saddened that situations like that which occurred today in Sepang exist, especially as the company feel proud of sporting values: Companionship, competitive spirit and commitment from riders. Without these values, it would not make sense for Repsol to participate in the sport as a sponsor.

“Repsol also call for a clear and strong regulation in the interest of the safety and physical integrity of the riders, which punishes behaviour like that seen today clearly and decisively.

“The positive thing about this race was the great performance of Dani Pedrosa, who gradually pulled away from his rivals to score his second win of the season –following that achieved in Japan two weeks ago.

“After this race, Marquez remains third in the overall standings with 222 points. Pedrosa moves up to fourth with 190 points. The World Championship will conclude in two weeks' time, with the Valencia Grand Prix”

What a load of shit, look closely at the video, MM tipped onto VR, who was in front! MM's helmet hit VR's knee slider then he moved his leg off in a reaction. As for pushing him wide MM was doing the exact same thing after JL passed him several times.
Also if VR kicked him how come race direction didn't DQ him for kicking not running him wide? (And by an accumulation of points).
The whole things stinks, at worst they both should have been penalised. But I don't think VR should have been penalised for pushing MM wide as they were both doing it to each other and MM came off second best this time, unlike all the other times he has done it through him career in all classes.
