I wear PEKEV jeans and jackets, brought it from Resurgence Gear Australasia. I researched a lot on motorcycle clothing fabrics and found PEKEV is one of the strongest and most stable fabric. Although the product seems a bit expensive, however, it's totally worth of the amount. I use Kabuto Helmets.
Awesome Experience!
Way to revive an old thread!
PEKEV might be a bit better than Kevlar, but all aramid fibre jeans and textile jackets offer minimal protection in a decent crash. There's a reason why you have to wear full leathers on a track day, or when racing. I have a friend who only recently crashed in Kevlar jeans and textile jacket and he wore away chunks of skin and tissue everywhere, spent over two weeks in hospital and had multiple skin grafts. Leather, as hot and inconvenient as it is, is still the only thing that will protect you from a decent slide.
