My bike is over at Parra Kawasaki at the moment. As a KSRCian are we still entitled to a 10% and who do we sort this out with?

MadKaw can say for certain, but if you want a discount I think you'll have to talk to Wayne.
No-one else claims to know anything about us.

Did you buy your bike off them?
If so they usually give you 10 % anyway although I got nothing off my first service. I didn't push the point as I asked for the price when I booked it in and I really didn't want any hassles with the work.

Dead right, you shouldn't. I actually found the workshop guys to be OK but it was the first time I had used them so I wasn't sure. I bought the bike there and I'll probably keep going back whilst i'm in warranty. It just saves you one hassle if you ever have a claim ie noone else has worked on the bike.
The sales bloke I dealt with was OK as well (Dave) and I've never had a prob with the spares guys. There only seems to be one problem but I don't think we need go into that one.

Dave's not too bad, he's quite sincere and polite unlike a certain person we could mention

My bike is in there too..
I had a long chat to Wayne Yesterday after the e-mail I sent in regards to the lack of discounts we were getting.
He has had a staff meeting and informed all his ppl that KSRC members will get the discount as offered. That is 10% on orig parts and 15% on non discounted accessories.
Make sure mention your a KSRC member and if ther is any problem ask for Wayne or Michael..
I let them know about the amount of complaints and non discounts and he assured me it is sorted and they do want to be associated with KSRC.
Please let me know if there is any problem...

OK. Dave sold me my bike (well, there wasn't much selling for him to do). I get most of my genuine parts from there (never asked for a discount on an oil filter) and I have had no problems dealing with the spares or my one off dealing with sales.
Wayne took my bike in today, for its dyno tuning session. And I had no problem with him either. I did not have to ask for the KSRC discount because I had already leveraged a nice discount (bought a set of tyres while I was there) so I didn't want to stretch the friendship by asking for 10% off the dyno tune. Apart from the overall dyno figures being lower than expected the work they did appeared to be very good (6hp gain from a map alone).
I have never had the bike serviced there and unless it was a warranty claim, I am not likely to. I have a mechanic who I use now and have no reason to take my bikes anywhere else.
But, it is nice to know I can drop the KSRC name and get a discount in the future.
Well done Dave (MadKaw).
