back at ya !!

Chaz Mostert just had his first and last Bradbury moment. Talk about being gifted a win.........and I think the scoreline for overall wins reads something like ....

GMH - 29
Ford - 19

btw...
what happened to the Ovlov??

I came in for a cuppa mid morning, it was leading but when I came in for lunch ( i was in the shed building another race carby for the touring car) it was nowhere to be seen
and was not mentioned ever again.

oh and...
for the record, the one I reckon who was stiffed by the stewards was Lowndes. It was Winterbottom who got out of shape and got touched, tapped by Lowndes.
Lowndes copped a drive thru penalty for doing something every driver at every race meeting gets told by the Race Secretary or Chief Steward.. never change your line
in the middle of corner. Winterbottom went sliding around, Lowndes held his line, the two make contact and Lowndes cops a penalty.... stiffed by the stewards in my opinion.
And the only appeal against a stewards decision is to the CAMS 'court' under the NCRs

there were 2 Volvos mate - the main one was racing for most of the day .....he was doing really well.....but made a mistake and hit the wall up into T3.

Agree 100% on the Lowndes decision - total bullshit. Frosty drives like a retard and Lowndes gets the drive-through.

i think lowndes was in the wrong, he did nothing to avoid a collision. frosty was still on the track, a little tail-out yes, but on the track. I bet lowndes though he would get away with it based on the very argument you just put forward...

whincup on the other hand, was just cocky, and it cost him a podium, and it almost cost him extending his lead over winterbottom

Lowndes did what he would have been told at the drivers briefing... If anyone should have copped the penalty, it was winterbottom

All I saw was council worker fixing the road while they all had a cuppa in pit straight, its not a race anymore its a joke, car leads by more than a second and the V8 taxi cab powers to be order a pace, if there isn't a prang then they let some roos loose, a poor representation of what was once a truly great race, its so much like nascar I expect them to be drinking milk at the end of the race and going yeehaw shucks etc :x :x :x

He was reported today as saying it was his fault but between the dust and late finish the dusk sunlight hampered his vision. He admitted fault but said he just didnt see it until too late.

Trouble with a penalty like he (CL) got means it can't be reversed.

Should have a time penalty so he can fight if need be.
Fkn joke of a race now but it hasn't been a sport but big business for years.

1st place was in the wall at least once
2nd place was in the wall twice.

All motorsport needs to us speed limiters where and when necessary instead of pace car.
BUT you cant change the outcome of a race so easy....
