Yep today I placed a deposit on one of 120 limited edition FPV pursuit utes. They are the last Ford FPV utes ever.These little babys were released onto the market yesterday and are pretty much sold out.Out of the 120 only 40 are manuals and I got one.There are no pictures available so it is sight unseen 315kw v eight supercharged orange manual ute.
Some dealers are not even selling these as they are waiting for someone to become deperate and they plan to name there own price.Delivery is sometime between July and September. Yep as big kev said I AM Excited. Picks to follow when ford release them. .On another note anyone want to buy a 1 owner BA XR8 Manual 110,000 ks. RED with18 inch factory wheels and Herrod motorsport Flash tune.Aftermarket system, new pilot sports tyres.

Yep definatly a ford man,list of fords owned 1) 165 xp falcon.2) 1964 xm falcon, 3) 1968 xr falcon,4) 1968 fairlaine, 5) 1977 fairlaine, 6) 2001 Au XR8, 7) 2003 BA Xr8.
had some shit inbetween, VN commodoore, Skyline wagon, HR Holden wagon, Mitsubishi Van, Volkswagen wagon , Bluebird Sedan . 13 cars Shit now thats a lot of cars didnt think i had wrecked or sold so many.The Pursuit will probably be my last car all things going to plan. .

315Kw at the flywheel = at best about 242 at the wheels. The best you'll get with a tune is about 260 at the wheels. Spend another 10k on heads, exhaust, cam, you might get to 300 at the wheels.......and then my naturally aspirated 383 2002 VY Commy will still leave you in tyre smoke

Nice car though Mal. My neighbours got a FPV GS with the Supercharged V8 and he loves it. I do like the sound of them with the exhaust opened up. It looks really good in my mirrors too

350kW at the wheels ???? lolz roflmao . 350kW is about 475hp. To pull 475hp at the wheels would require roughly 550hp at the crank !!!!

Yes, just a tune-up will get this. Maybe even just a K&N filter and a set of iridium plugs - who knows, throw some upper-cylinder lube into the mix and 400kW is definitely in the ball-park.

I've done a couple of STOCK BA's XR6's fitted only with CAPA flash tuners there've easily pulled 305kw at the wheels on a number 2 setting.(No mods except wastegate control) to get near 350 you would have to look at modified air tube and larger intercooler and injectors, but all is possible Depends on how many greens and what you want to hear.

Well Glenbo,my current BA xr8 rated 260 as they all are,before herrord got to it was 195.9 kw at 202 ks with max tourqe 456 NM @154 ks.
After intake and sct flash tune 216.2 KW @190 ks and max torque 496 NM @160 ks.This also doesn't take into account where the tourqe is and guess what its main increase is mid range without loosing any bottom end.Motive force what ever that is went from 4170.1N@154 ks to 4540.2N @162 Ks.That should give you crummydoore guys a formula to work out the real rear wheel power with minor mods.Yet to see any crummydore get near me from a standing start.
And thanks I am really hanging out to see it let alone get it,shes going to a little bright in orange but hey the XR in red is also a little bright.

yeah but glen, doesnt matter how much power you've got when the piston goes through the head... or the bearing goes... or whatever it was that chris did to it before he ditched it on you...

How about instead of fucking with what will later be a well sought after limited edition vehicle, you just take damn good care of it, leave it original, and enjoy its worth in a few decades from now when everyone else will be left driving around in cheap Korean made four cylinder monstrosities.

Totally i have no intension of doing anything to it apart from driving it.these things are already sold out and prices have gone crazy,Sedan RRP 77000.00 some dealers asking $100000.00.Asking and getting are one thing but i am pretty sure i could make a quick 10-15,000 if i wanted to,NO FNN WAY.
