Kryptonite lock exchange - finally a commitment

Dear Kryptonite Customers,
Thank you very much for your patience over the last few months as Kryptonite worked to re-engineer and manufacture replacement locks for the tubular cylinder lock exchange programme. So far, Kryptonite has shipped more than 300,000 replacement locks to countries around the globe, including Australia and New Zealand. As you might imagine, this has been an enormous undertaking.
While tubular cylinders have been used in many other brands of locks, we are most proud to let you know Kryptonite is the ONLY lock company conducting such an extensive exchange programme. We remain committed to provide to you, our customers (our most valuable asset), a product which is not only market leading, but also of the highest reliability and quality.
We are pleased to let you know that we are ready to begin delivering
replacement locks to those of you who registered for the replacement programme on the Kryptonite website.
On Saturday, 9th of July, 2005, we will have 13 staffed exchange locations across Australia. Please come to one of these locations, between the hours of 10.00am and 3.00pm, to receive either a complete replacement lock or a replacement crossbar, with new non-tubular cylinder, depending on the type of lock you registered for replacement.
If you are not able to get to one of these sites on the July 9th, please send a message to mailto:kryptonite@cassons.com.au, to the attention of Nicholas Peddar. He will make arrangements to send your replacement item to your local motorcycle or bicycle store, for your exchange.
To receive your replacement, you must turn in your old lock and keys.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to give you your replacement item without these.
If you are exchanging a bicycle lock that was sold with a carrying bracket, please keep all parts of your bracket system, including any pieces attached to the lock, so that you can use it with your new lock.
