Motorcycle Transport - Motorcycle Logistics

Postby icebreaker » Wed Jun 22, 2005 1:19 pm

Hey Guys,

Found a business card for these guys on my bike at lunch time.

Thought I'd share, and if anyone has used them before please post comments.

From looking at their website, they do look quite professional... I know the last time we discuess bike transport it was for Gayle and they used a 6x4 box trailer.

Looks like they can do interstate shipping also. For those looking into purchasing a bike interstate, this might be an option.

Yeah be careful with who you entrust to transport your bike....one of the more popular carriers in Brisbane dropped my ZZR1100 off the trailer...and of course they AREN'T insured....never again- will hire a trailer myself and tow it myself if I have to......
Lucky Brisbane council coughed up for that one, including the damage caused by the carrier......all they had was a trailer, towed by a lethal looking XE falcon wagon, hired from "rent a bomb"....(no joke- there is a company called rent a bomb in Bris.) Their usual tow vehicle (wonder what it was?) was off the road at the time....
Bris council paid up coz they dug a hole in the road in Waterworks Rd, which caused $5k of damage to my ZZR when I rode through it...and I didn't even drop or come off the bike. Took three months to get the dosh..... :)
2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R :) Yeah I like Kawasakis.
