Bargain tools.....

Postby mattyv74 » Thu Jun 16, 2005 6:21 pm

It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.

I think the hammer is for beating Luigi for forgetting to gap the plugs correctly causing a miss at 8500rpm.

You can buy a set of metric and imperial spanners from supercheap for around $2-$3 ea...they actually aren't too bad for an emergency set. Throw in a decent multi screwdriver for around $20 (Rothenberger), a pair of pliers for $5, and a bunch of cable ties...and maybe some spare wire, fuses and insulating tape. $35 and you're done. Do some maintenance and you may never need to use it, either

I wish the seller all the best actually. If there are morons out there willing to pay $3000 USD for a plastic case with cheap tools in it then they deserve to be ripped off.

In fact, I have a box of russian space pens here that I am sure would fetch a couple thou

oh yeah, i reckon if you're stupid enuff to spend the kind of money it takes for one of those cars, then the pocketmoney that toolkit costs wouldn't be a problem. most ppls that own cars like that have probably never held a spanner in their lives, how the hell would they know its cheapo crap
