Let the Bling bring on the Shwing!

Postby chrjonzx9r » Wed Jun 08, 2005 7:03 pm

Well people as most may be aware.. i layed my zx9 down for a quick sleep on its side on saturday.
Well just another thing to add that makes this so worth it,
Well to start off i went to my local kwakka dealer and had a look at the new zx10 - 1st Shwing of the day.
Get home put on my nicely polished bar ends that i repaired today- 2nd shwing,
With all my fairings off how MEAN does a bike look- 3rd shwing.. now i understand why people buy naked bikes. Man SSSSSSHHHHWWWWINNNG

Ok final shwing of the day was when i removed my stock exhaust and started her up.. From the stock exhaust to the sweet humming of an unbaffled nine is awesome.... shame its not legal though. But maybe a bafflectomy might be on its way with the new exhaust :)
How good is it to crash :)

wow i wasnt going to go to that extreme... take you a week to polish the bastard after riding in the rain.
Was going to polish the frame, wheels and engine covers.
Been looking at some awesome exhausts.... man there is so many good ones. But im going to play around with my dented one and try a bafflectomy to see how it goes.
Neka, do your bike to something that your proud to ride, can ride it either road or track, and so you wont get pulled up by the police all the time.

I say add as much bling as you want, but please, please, don't take your fairings off.

Well, Ok, do whatever you want, it's your bike. I always think that faired bikes with their fairings missing look like just that.... faired bikes with their fairings missing.

I know some people love streetfighters but really, unless they have had some thought put behind them they tend to look tacky. All you gotta do is compare a Z1000 or a Hornet to something like a ZZR1100 or a GSXR750 with their fairings missing... blech!

wouldnt dream of leaving the fairings off.... its like seeing a girl naked for the first time.... you have a look in the privacy of your home but you cant take her out naked.

I did a bafflectomy on my ZXR250.....you needed earplugs at idle. I must have been lucky the times that I rode it on the road like that because I never got pulled over even with the exhaust laws. At EC people at turn 1 could hear it as I came out of turn 12. Go the overly loud exhaust....scare the hell out of cages when you lane split in peak hour and blip the throttle as you go past.
19,500 before the cut out. Can you hear me SCREEEEEEEAM!!!!!!!!!
