They test all the supersports, all the litre fours, and all the "esoterica" (which includes the GSX-R750 on their planet), separately, then take the one which laps the quickest in each class and put them in the "final".

The 6R was the quickest supersport, the Ducati the quickest esoteric, and the 10R the quickest litre four, so those three got to go on for a shootout amongst themselves.

can't complain about the results.. go Kwaka!!

Mnyeah, well... they whipped arse last year, too, and Honda still sold almost three times as many UglyBlades as Kwaka did 10R's, and more than twice as many CBR600RR's as 636's...

The ZX6R wasn't the fastest.. the R6 was. The ZX6R one overal.

The R6 had a lap that was fastest, the 6R held the highest average lap times. This, in my book, makes it a faster bike.

I really cannot believe that the older 10R beat the Gixxer thou. Everyone is pulling themselves over that new bike and yet the kwakka still beat it?

Well, go Team Green.

Go the ZX10 and 6, you can't argue with two years in a row particulary, as Madkaw says, with the GSXR being touted as the latest and greatest.

Good to see the R1's getting smashed around too.

CycleWorld magazine in the States agrees and ranks the ZX10R over the GSXR1000...they were getting three second a lap slower times on the GSXR because of the softer suspension

Two Wheels had one in their most recent mag, they rated the GSXR as the best

Now I know why I stopped reading Two Wheels. I'll have to grab it and have a read.
