No licence yet for me, but have bought a bike. Currently looking at 2 options for getting my bike from the far side of Ringwood, to Melton.
Then most likely moving it from Melton to Hawthorn. Within a couple of weeks.
1. Get a trailer.
2. Get my brother to ride my bike from said far side to melton.

What would you recomend?? Ive thought about looking for some friends place to put it for a couple of weeks, closer to hawthorn or ringwood but have had no luck so far, plus I dont like to trust anyone else with my precious :?

Motorcycle movers are pretty cheap over here... Bout $50.00 to/from anywhere, and they have insurance too.

Yeah, don't get anyone to ride it unless you have insurance for it or at the very least a cover note. Have heard a story of one of my brothers mates who bought a new car and had it written off very shortly after driving it off the lot...uninsured. Ouch.

I had the same issue, I bought my first bike just after I got my license (within days) from Peter Stevens in the City and wasn't game to ride it out to Werribee in rush hour.

These guys dropped it off for me, and they work 24/7:

CycHaul Motorcycle Transport

Pretty good, they do the deliveries for Peter Stevens. It is $50 though
