Post by Slow and wobbly »

I dont understand it.
Yes I know what it means.
But why does everybody use it to say "Good one!" or "Fucking ace!" when really it is a symbol for stick this in yah cunt and a big thumb up your arse while your at it.
I got a sweater for my birthday. I realy wanted a moaner or a screamer.

I think Dave of the red variety is the man to explain
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

the kuda is the ksrc translation of the world known shocker. Hence the name change. With the translation came a meaning change.
From what i can see, it means 'fuck yeah!' 'awesome' or any other positive phrase or hand gesture. This didnt really take up until some genius decided to make a very happy smiley out of the kuda. Then it went viral.
Until another genius made some stickers out of it and now its an epidemic :kuda:

I had a feeling it was r-d that was the start of this one.
I still am wondering how it came about, aside from a shitload of alcohol.

I don't think Mr Wobbly was questioning the meaning - he says he knows what it means.
He's questioning its prevalent non-sexual use.

Is it any different to rock/music fans making the devil sign? They are not 'in general' devil worshipers about to go sacrifice goats, but merely strengthening their group belonging with a icon. This is no different, and I'm sure many members are not about to give their partners a shocker any time soon.

As Clive Dunn in Dad's Army would say, "They don't like it up em Mr Mannering"
