Aluminium Fairings

IThere is a story on the UK MCN website about aluminium fairings being produced by an Italian company. They weigh a little bit more but are stronger and easier to repair.
The story isn't really that interesting, but the pic of the Z1000 that goes with it is cool.

would cause abit of damage if you hit your bike in the wrong spot.. steel fairings would be like knives coming at you, I would have thought.... different..
