DRAG RACING

Postby simon limbrick » Fri Jan 14, 2005 6:34 pm

Just wondering if any of you guys do any (Off-Street) Drag Racing? I know you's are probably thinking im a softcock for only racing in a straight line but its still good for winning all those "My bikes quicker than ur bike" debates between mates!!!!!!
i've run the 9R a couple of times at the AC Delco Drag Strip down here in Tassie and so far have managed a best of 10.8sec at about 220kph. :D that was a pretty poor attempt at launching off the line though. Im sure there is still more to come from the old girl yet! Does anyone share my interest?

The rest just play catch up really, but I do say some bull now and then

Have taken all my toy cars to the drags at one point or another. Willowbank is a bit of hike for me though. But sometime I want to see how quick I can send it down the quarter for interest sake.
Real bravery is being afraid but doing it anyway.

I might be going out to Willowbank on Wednesday night to run the 6, just to see how she goes. PM me if anyone wants to tag along...
