If banks and servos start getting robbed by people wearing Burkas will they get banned too? If I was a criminal, I know what my disguise of choice would be since they can't ask you to take it off; and it conceals your looks and body shape too. hat30.gif

Well bit of an update to this, first servo I went in to too fuel up prior to heading off to Canberra I went there stopped the bikem picked up the pump, no juice flowing, so went in, saw the bloke at the counter, handed him a purse that someone had dropped in the driveway, he says I wn't turn pump on till you take the helmet off, so I took helmet off, filled up, went inside to pay wearing ym balaclave which was under the helmet....

Dunno he was happy about it but he took my money.

Ok Here's one for you.
One of our stores was doing an interest free promo. The Person filled out the forms with the customer 45min later all paperwork was done, time to ID the customer........"Sorry I'm not removing it"(the Burka).Sorry, but the photo ID on your licence you are not wearing it and with out being able to Id you i can't process your paperwork.
Well we will see about that she said and walked out.

Next thing a letter comes from her legals  , off to our legals:lol:

Well it looks like problem solved and she now has more in debt than the promo was offering. i just wonder how long it will take for her to pay that one off

So after god knows how many years away from this forum for a variety of reasons (5yrs I think), no reasons to do with the forum or the members, I'm back and was reading through my old posts.

WOW. You can tell from this one, I was not in a good headspace. Its amazing what a bit of counseling, plus growing old and almost meeting your maker a couple of times can do to adjust your views.
As for the helmet on or off... I no longer care :P

Still not keen on the burkha thing, but thats my own prejudice due to my time in the sandpits, that I'll need to deal with, Such is life.
