Congo rats Hammer so is it Blue or Blue ?. As for the mighty 9 I dont want all the pieces  . I'll make it worth your while mate ill bell ya tomorrow. Btw Big Kevie would probably take what you offered for his scoot.
Similar vein here not starting anew thread.
As for my Day the "lovely n talented" Janelle has decided she really wants her own bike so I pretended i was "Jibbers" & went "tyre kicking". Bit hot for it, but riding bikes is a fun way to pass any satdy.
I rode a ZX7R (POS example i'd say), 95 ZZR6 (tidy unit, bit heavy but they like a rev) then we got onto the stuff Janelles really looking at a CBR400RR, VFR400 & CBR250RR. Out of these 3 the CBR4 was easily the pick better gearing n less buzzy then the vfr n lots more grunt then the 250 as expected. Found a ZXR250 on our way home i have instructions to go back monday n ride it. Shes been on the net half the evening comparing bikes & we are seriously considering getting an importer to Bring a ZXR400 into the country for us. According to the specs from the UK they would eat a CBR400 anyone know anything about them ?. Janelle really wants a 02 ZX6R (Red please) but she Needs something much easier to ride for 12months. Till she gets used to riding something with a higher seat ht.
cheers Brett

BADASS! 12R in black. Very very nice. The 12Rs kick so much arse.

I really should have a look at the specs of a 12R. Cos they look pretty much the same, I'm just wondering how far they've come technology wise over the years?

Pontikat:
One of me mates bought a CBR400RR awhile ago for his mrs. She loves, it, great little bike. But you've gotta remember (as with a ZXR250, not sure about the ZXR400), that they've got 18 inch rear rims. Becoming a much harder thing to find tyres for. Have ya had a look at Viffers? Think they're 17s.

ZXR400 though would be the pick of the bunch. If you've seen the import centre down on moss st they're prob the people to talk too. This thing was made up into 2002, so its the latest and greatest 400 you're gonna find.

I prob wouldn't bother with a 250. They are shitloads of fun, but in the end, they really do need just a bit more oomph. 400 is perfect. Oh hang on! Didn't read you're last sentence. In that case, a 250 would be a good option, or the CBR or VFR400s, or a mid 90's ZXR400. Don't need the latest and greatest if its only for a year.
