It sounds to me like you guys need to race the black Supra from Brisbane/Gold Coast?
Some guys from Oz sportsbikes on Gixxer thous/954 & others lost to it in a 130kph roll on!
It apparently has 600+hp!
I think they said it runs a T88 turbo?

The T88 is not quite that big, but still HUGE!

If rice cookers turn you on I guess 600hp would be impressive.
Alternatively for about half the money you could build yerself a big block chev. PHWOAR!!!!!

sorry to hear that col..i think u read my story abt 2 yrs ago in my sleepy
lil home town?? riding home , late at nite, guy thinks hes racing me, i go
past, he goes past, i cant b farked so i let him pass me again...he throws a
coke bottle at me (half full) i avoid it...pulls up in the main st at a
roundabout (single lane) and jumps out of the car, then 2 doors on passenger
side open & 2 more guys get out walking towards me, i just memorise the car
& plates, take off wrong side of road, ring cops next day to find its a
local car...they told me theyd send sum1 to "have a word to him" and i told
em if i see the car again, ill follow him & take 2 of my mates with me to
"have my own word with them" and the cops tell me to easy up...lol...sorry
long story, tried to shorten it..

Or maybe it is just that the ER-5 doesn't [i:6dd342f7f7]look[/i:6dd342f7f7]
too flash, but I have had run of the mill Falcadores, teenagers in old
crappy Corollas, Silvias (not even turbo'd!! Idiots) etc have a go.
Sometimes I give them a bit of an ego boost and hold the revs at around
4k...let them get a length ahead before ripping on the throttle...and a
quick change up to second...bye bye...
>
> I am not a particularily talented rider as of yet, but even the ER puts
them in their place. I can honestly say that the only time they beat me, is
when I let them...usually because already I saw the police with the radar
gun 5 minutes ago...hehehe...

when they went green these guys gunned it, i took of reasonably smartly and
the guy on the gutter side lost it during a gear change, slid sideways up
the gutter and ended up on his side with his roof resting against a light
pole.

Thanks Neka - yes, I remember when that happened to you. Wasn't it on the way home from a Bikers Anon dinner?

I live in reality & NOTHING that makes BIG hp is cheap, whether it be a V8 or a Turbo six/rotor/four etc etc & btw that turbo in the pic was going on a V8 from memory, & I'm sure the supra would still handle, brake & due to not using boost when cruising @ 100kph be reasonable on fuel & quiet & &...
The lads said it was still pulling away from there thous @260kph.

I just opened a can of worms didn't I?

It's not about if you like V8's or turbo's etc etc it's ALL about power to weight, the very reason OUR bikes perform as well as they do!
600hp might not mean much compared to a big block, but how much do you need on the street?

Does ANYBODY remember Jeff Watson's mighty Sprite back in the 80's? It REGULARLY showed Victor Bray its ass, using a FJ20 Turbo against HUGE BIG BLOCK V8's with 8L or so!

And besides what about twin turbo's on the Big Block? HUGE HP!!!
