oihhh Rob
I thought I was showing no bias... hehe
I said "the ones with a P PLATE on the HSV WRX or Ford XRs "
always thought HSVs were Commodores....
mate
seriously though.. it was the bit about the P Plate with any Hipowered car
that worries me shock:
some of these get seriously aggro, if you pick 'em off at the lights
too many male hormones in the right foot

Without trying to offend anyone (not sure why people get so upset about being told their car is shit... it is ONLY a car afterall!)...

I find that blokes in the Holden Utes are the biggest offenders, followed closely by Mums in that new sedan that hubby just bought them.

Most of the ricer boys know better and generally only do it for a laugh. They don't actually believe they can win.

Ian, I know EXACTLY what you are talking about from firsthand experience.

Was on my way home from work (about a month or two ago) and this dhead in a small blue charade-type car was annoying me, so I gave him the finger. BIG mistake - this guy must have been on drugs or something because the way he overreacted was frightening.

He pulled in front of me, slowed right down trying to bait me to move lanes, but I stood my ground. To cut a long story short, he through scrunched up card at me. The first bit hit the bike and the second time was when he was pissed that I wouldn't go in the lane beside him, so he swerved suddenly to get alongside me and threw more - this time it hit me in the chest and apar from being dangerous - it hurt.

The whole time I refused to look at him and this annoyed him even more. I managed to escape (long story) and rode to a cop station near home to report him. I was shaking so much i could barely ride. Let's just say that if this guy had pulled out a handgun, I wouldn't have been surprised.

To my great annoyance, as soon as I started to tell the duty cop my story, I completely forgot the driver's rego that I had been memorising and chanting to keep me sane on my journey to the station.

As you can tell from this long post (sorry!), the whole thing really freaked me out and shook my confidence for a few days afterwards.

(why do these guys ALWAYS wear their caps on backwards??? )
and
being able to lane split and disappear into the traffic is very helpful
when they spit the dummy :P

don't mix up blue.. my blue has heart and balls, the ford blue has leaks, is slow and depreciates much faster..

Plus I'm allowed to shit stir Rob.. gotta try and make it even some how..

Only a ford driver would blow up an air matress with the plug out of the bung hole :P

Nothing much wrong with a Feroza... It's tow the BA out of the shit when it gets bogged on wet grass or a 5cm ditch... Or after you bury you rear in the bog...

Ok this could get ugly. :D

Here's the deal. This is the old "Dandy on Thursday night" deal.

Time fore you guys to put up or......
You guys are welcome to run against our four wheels this summer.
However, to get a run with it, you have to get through my 7 first. Have to have a good reason to clock up the miles on this beastie. '57 engine, '23 body, '72 rego. We have lost a few runs, but not to anything under 900cc. So I'm never confident of beating the bucket on the bike.

You guys up for it?

icebreaker wrote:Only ford driver I know, that would blow the doors off most things. That's why my bikes a similar colour to his Ford, cause it's much faster and I couldn't afford a black bike.

Plus I'm allowed to compliment Rob.. He's my hero, I wish I could ride like him. One day with lots and lots of practice, I might get there.

Nothing much wrong with a Feroza... Even though It couldn't pull the leg off a chocalate frog. Goes from 0-100 only off a cliff and runs on an oily rag (that's there to soak up the oil leaks). Man I'm a bung hole that loves to blow and suck :P

Thanks Dan. You said it Mate.
