In NSW, if you have a full license and a MB L's or P'S and you lose four points on your MB, you will lose you MB but not your car.

i know i know, the term is RL or R

JJ - are you sure about that? I thought you have a single license with (x) points, despite the # of classes on that license?

umm mate i was in nsw until 2002.... in 1999 i lost my bike P's with a month to go..got 4 points..and BINGO 3 months with NO licence at all...
now i been in SA nearly 3 yrs now, but im certain it still works that way, it does over here....either way, i may be wrong, it may b different now...but im not taking chances....
