Hmmm, that motor looks to have about as much in common with the ER-5's unit as the Bourne movies with Matt Damon do with the books...

...looks like we have the ER-5's replacement there; if that's the case, and it sneaks onto the LAMS list, it'll seel large.

I hope so I-K - the ER is getting on bit, after all...

You are right though - imagine a restricted LAM's version, with de-restriction kit....

More info can now be found here

It's a funny old combination of budget and high-spec isn't it? Just looking over it you can spot so many bits off other bikes in the range it's not funny (eg rear-brake of a ZX6, mirrors from a Z1 etc etc).

At least Kwaky are trying to be different, nice effort I reckon.

I see they are claiming it has a low seat height (Mick, are you listening??). Although they don't say how low it is.

And it sounds kinda crap through my speakers. I hope it sounds better standing next to it.

Here's a better pic of the exhaust.

Its not so bad after a while, even looks good in black but just like peps didn't like the '05 ZX6R, it looks very practical and comfy would be perfect for comuting and the odd weekend run i think its a good idea for kwaka to step out of the ordinary as if u look at the rest of the bikes nothing really stands out as different from other manufactures. i reackon once people see it in person opinions will change.

Also don't forget that this is a 'buget' bike, expect it to be sold for less than the Z750.
